As the regular season wraps up and all-star teams start practices we'd like to take a moment to thank everyone for participating in the 2019 season of FLL. This year was a challenging one with some of the worst weather I think we've ever seen. Thank you to all of the volunteers that spent time this season prepping fields, helping at the concession stand and coaching the youth of our community. FLL is an entirely volunteer-run organization and we couldn't provide this experience without all of the help! Thanks to all of the parents and coaches for your patience and flexibility with scheduling this year with the fields seemingly underwater for most of the Spring. Also a huge thank you to all of the amazing sponsors that helped support Freeland Little League this year!
As this season comes to a close we will have several critical openings on the FLL board for next season and need folks, especially those with younger children in the league to get involved. Please look for an announcement soon regarding our annual meeting where board members are elected and consider joining the group of folks that help make the league what it is. We are always in need of fresh perspectives and ideas to continue improving the league for the kids.
